The Phares Corder Orchestra and Singers

The Phares Corder Orchestra performs in the traditional Big Band and Swing Band styles from Glenn Miller to Harry Connick, Jr. , playing selections from the 30s through the 90s with the additional ability to perform contemporary music as well. Included is a vocal group that sings in the traditions of Frank Sinatra, The Modernaires, The Four Freshmen, The Lettermen, and Manhattan Transfer, as well as the Motown Sound, Huey Lewis, Sheena Easton, and Chicago, and the contemporary sounds of today’s music. The Phares Corder Orchestra generally comes in two sizes.

The large orchestra generally includes:

* 4 Rhythm (Piano, Electric Bass, Guitar, and Drums)
* 4 Saxophones
* 3 Trumpets
* 2 Trombones
* 3 Female Vocalists
* Male vocalist

The small orchestra generally includes:

* 2 Trumpets
* 1 Trombone
* 3 Female Vocalists
* Male vocalist

The large orchestra has the full big band sound for the most elegant of parties.
