Soundpost is a party band serving the greater Dallas Fort Worth metroplitan area of Texas. The band, comprised of full-time cast of six members, performs regularly at weddings, parties, dances, and other social gatherings.

Both a Classical and Jazz guitarist, the talents of Jim Shannon are perfect for wedding receptions, cocktail or dinner parties and other tasteful, sophisticated events.

The Gyros String Quartet was formed by violist Norbert Gerl in 1986 to host “Classical Thursdays” at Panteli’s (now defunct and still sadly missed) on lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas.
