One Love Uprising Reggae Band

Based in Dallas Texas, One Love Uprising Reggae Band specializes in the musical genres of Reggae, Calypso, Latin, Soca and World Beat. Currently there are 4 members in the band, but it wasn't always that way.

Many a fourth player have come and gone over the years, but the original 3 have always remained constant for all of 6+ years. The band was founded when three musical friends from the small island of St. Kitts got together and started "playing". At each performance, they bond with their audiences and they strive for a good time "to be had by all". Lead singer Ras Kumba, loves to musically incite the crowd and boy is he good at it!

From the smooth croonings of Ras Kumba, to the soulful chants of Ras Jahbo right on to the "Soca Stylings" of Trabal, and don't forget the powerful Bass throw downs from Ian.
